PAT Accessibility Issues

Project description

I participated in a group study with professor John Zimmerman to build a service to help the physically challenged people to communicate their grievances to Port Authority (PAT) - the Pittsburgh bus system. I like community service and this project gave me a chance to help the less fortunate and of course the experience of working so closely with such an eminent professor.

Process

I played an active role in conducting user research for an entire semester. By the end of the semester, we conducted contextual inquiries on three blind, three deaf, three chair bound and three normal people who use the bus frequently. We used service blueprints and flow model to represent our data. We consolidated all the models and would be sharing our findings with PAT.

Design

We are yet to start with the ideating phase.

Research report
